Be financially secure in the event of needing care
The benefits of statutory long-term care insurance often fall short of covering the actual costs. A private long-term care cost insurance provides effective financial protection. The insurer covers a fixed percentage of the remaining costs that you must pay after the statutory care insurance has contributed. Depending on the provider and plan, coverage may reimburse up to 100% of your out-of-pocket costs throughout the duration of your care dependency.
You will receive the agreed percentage of your care costs even if future care costs rise due to inflation or price increases. However, the maximum annual reimbursement is limited according to the terms of your contract.
Benefits are provided for both home care by professional caregivers and partial or full inpatient care in a nursing facility.
